OUR PROFILE
|
The Women in Prayer Network is a Christian fellowship which started on the 21st March 2008 at the Methodist University College Ghana – Accra and was then known as Women in Prayer. The passion to organize women who will share in the vision of spreading the Gospel of God, helping the needy and rising upright women(men) to intercede for the restoration of broken homes and the nation as a whole led to the formation of the fellowship, Women in Prayer – WIP.
Irrespective of the enormous NGOs and other organizations whose aims are to create homes for the homeless and help the needy in the society, Women in Prayer also aims at influencing and equipping women to evangelize and solicit for funds to support the deprived in the society so as to fulfil the will of the Father as written in the Holy Bible “if you love me feed and take care of my flock”. This led to the need to expand our scope and bring the fellowship beyond the borders of Methodist University College Ghana in order to bring people from all walks of life to share in the vision, hence the rebirth of the Fellowship, THE WOMEN IN PRAYER NETWORK, on the 17th October, 2009.
